Neuss, 13 November 2025 - H&D Schierle GmbH celebrated a very special anniversary on November 7 under the motto "starting great things together": 70 years of Schierle - and at the same time the successful completion of the integration into the Hoberg & Driesch Tube Group.
The evening was hosted by René Travnicek, who created an entertaining and lively atmosphere with his charm and wit. The event was accompanied musically by Mathias Nelles, whose live performance impressively rounded off the evening.
In addition to the customers, suppliers and employees in attendance, the company welcomed numerous special guests, including the owner families Hoberg and Driesch, Schierle and Johanna Gatzke, Head of the Neuss Economic Development Agency.
In their speeches, Hanns-Jörg Westendorf, Erwin Schierle and Nico Genge took the guests on a journey through the past, present and future of the company. They recalled the milestones in the company's history, paid tribute to the pioneering spirit of the early days and at the same time emphasized the beginning of a new chapter within the Hoberg & Driesch Röhrengruppe.
A special moment of the evening was the symbolic start button, which was pressed jointly by Hanns-Jörg Westendorf, Dr. Marcus Schubbe, Erwin Schierle and Nico Genge. The previously shown countdown video then continued its course - until the spectacular "takeoff" of the H&D Schierle rocket, symbolizing the start of a new future.
With the subsequent song by Mathias Nelles, which perfectly picked up on the motto "starting great things together", the cozy part of the evening began with live music, good conversations and an exuberant atmosphere.
The event impressively combined tradition and the future - and showed that Schierle is still full of energy for a successful future, even after 70 years.
